5 Lane Vintage Miniature Cedar Chests With Feet - Salesman Samples

Here are five miniature vintage Lane cedar chests (4 with little wooden feet) probably from the 1940's and 50's. On the bottom of three are a paper sticker explaining that these small chests do not have the 10 features of the big Lane chests and that you can see the full size chests at the dealership or you can write for a catalog from the Lane Company that is fully illustrated. Three of the chests have a grooved decoration on the front corner....you can see that in one of the photos. ...Four chests are in very good condition....one was used as a tool box or something and has a nail driven in the back to hold a split together, I think. It looks fine on the outside but is not as nice as the others....it may be over 70 years old. The chests are all marked "C Lane Cedar Chests" but were distributed  by different furniture companies including one in Canada. All 5 comes with ONE KEY that I am not sure opens anything but it goes in the lock. They measure 4 inches by 8 and 5/8 inches by 3 and 3/4 inches.
