Up for auction is a very attractive printed Book of Hours leaf, in Latin, printed by Simon Vostre (Paris), circa 1510.  It is rare for these later printed Hours leaves to be printed on vellum.  There are several hand-painted blue and red initials to complement the interesting woodcut scenes portrayed in the margins.  This pretty Hours leaf measures approx. 8 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches and is in excellent condition.
