Up for sale is a Early 1940s Rawlings Softball 1st Base Mitt Vintage Baseball Glove. Leather is soft and pliable. No holes and all of the seams are good. Some light checking on the back. Leather lining id good, soft, does have some wear in the palm. Some of the finger straps have come loose, still feels good on the hand. Rolled leather piping is all present, shows wear in areas. Lacing looks good, web intact and has a single tunnel web added. Stamps are worn but legible. LHT glove (fit...s on your right hand). Adult size.
Item sold as is, does not include wood stand. Ask any questions, I will get back to you as soon as I can. This comes out of a large collection, selling some of the duplicates/ extras that have been in the spare room. All gloves have been cleaned and conditioned, including the inside linings.
