DESCRIPTION:This Listing is for a "lovely" antique bisque shoulder head German Doll nicely dressed in hand made clothing. Marked on the back of her shoulder head is a "S" with another letter intertwined, and O below, see photo. Reference shows similar dolls made in 1890+ Germany. This doll is a bisque shoulder head with bisque hands from elbows down with molded fingers intact, she has a firm cloth body being stitched jointed at the hips to allow her to sit. I do not know what the... orange mark on her back was for, I did not attempt to remove it. Body shows overall wear throughout but nothing terrible. A "sweet" Dolly Face with stationary open blue glass eyes, painted lashes around her eyes, she has brown eye brows, open mouth with upper teeth. A lovely face with rose color blush. Her brunette wig slips over a pate on her head. Vintage skirt has a snap at the waist, top has safety pin closure, she wears pantaloons with button at the waist, full slip, shoes and bonnet. This is a "sweet" antique Doll for collection or display! I have taken plenty of photos, please look at my photos to serve as part of this description.
