Here is an original antique door knob. Front of the knob is made of brass or bronze - a magnet does not stick to it. The back of the knob is cast iron.
This knob was manufactured by Russell and Erwin starting in 1875. Blumin identification is K - 11100. Classical design. This knob has a solid feel to it and fine casting. Knob has beautiful consistent aged brown patina.This knob is in very nice condition. It has no condition issues - no dents, dings or major ...scratches or flaws. There is only very minor wear and signs of use (see pictures).
