Quality movement and accurate scaled down workings. This antique German made toy sewing machine is solid, with a handle that turns to move the needle up and down, spool feed and eye. The toy has ornate floral arabesque detailing which is hand-painted along the sides and base in blue, orange and gold.; strikingly beautiful against the black. Nickel plated metal parts are in fairly clean condition. Original wooden spool with thread still on it. We have left this as found, uncleaned and not modified, lightly dry brushed to remove dust only. This piece was passed down in the family and conservation stored for 60 years. An extremely nice piece! This item is being sold as is in very good antique condition. We do our very best to describe items in detail or provide detailed photos.
