Rare Karl Lee Big SurPink Tourmaline Ring
DESCRIPTIONThis rough and tumble rare beauty is from Big Sur designer Karl Lee. Prominently featured is a bold, high peaked, oval, natural pink tourmaline set in 22k with a solid sterling silver band. All of his rings are one-of-a-kind, treasured around the world and rarely become available. A fabulous opportunity for collectors! Karl's simple, earthly, elegant designs made him a man with an irrefutable style. His ri...ngs are timeless and comfortable and will be the only ring you'll ever want to wear!Because it's a square band it's hard to know the exact size. I've found it be approx size 6.5 - 7 and know his rings to fit several fingers as a result of this square design. It’s hallmarked "Karl Lee Handmade 925" with his unique trademark symbol.
SPECIFICATIONS• Designer: Karl Lee (of Big Sur, CA)• Main Stone: 1 high peaked natural pink tourmaline cabochon• Metal: Square sterling silver band and his bezels are usually 22k Yellow Gold but it's unmarked• Size: 7 (resize by any good jeweler if needed)• Hallmark: K Lee 925 Handmade• Condition: Ring is in overall GOOD pre-owned condition, however the stone is in FAIR condition with natural inclusions which are standard for tourmalines and some pits. The polish is dull, coloration is lighter at the top (see pictures) and the stone is slightly loose in the bezel. However, because of his unique bezel setting, these stones rarely fall out of the setting and are fairly indestructible. The sterling silver band has several surface scratches which is normal for silver. You can choose to wear it as is or have your favorite stone lapidary jeweler polish the band and tighten the bezel. Your choice! I personally think his rings look even better with age!*This ring has been worn a lot throughout the years and shows significant wear as a result. Do not expect it to be new. It's sold AS IS and is priced accordingly.
