Very Rare Antique Archibald Knox For Liberty And Co, Geo Bassett Sweet Tin.. Dispatched with Royal Mail. This is a lovely Hexagon shaped, Tin plate sweets tin with pressed panel sections to simulate hand hammered copper with enamel cartouches. It's 9.5cm tall and 16.5cm at it's widest point, and is dated around 1910. A truly wonderful shape and design that is in excellent condition. It's spent it's whole life behind a locked cabinet. You will NOT find another that is as original lookin...g as this. The colours are as striking, as when it was first made! The underside shows the address as Portland Street Sheffield. The company moved from there to it's present address in 1934, where it still remains today producing it's world famous Bassett's liquorice all-sorts and jelly babies. It naturally has age related marks, so please see all the photos as this forms part of the description. Any questions please feel free to ask.
