Beautiful, colorful and pleasing to the eye.
Purchased from an estate sale with several Canton, China pieces.
These pieces were brought home from Canton, China (now named Guangzhou) in the 1950s.
The pieces are all hand-painted and so each one is unique and individual. 2 of the square plates have a chip. I found none on the round plates.&...nbsp; They feature flowers, birds, butterflies, and medallions.
PLEASE NOTE: 5 of the cups have a hairline fracture. I put hot water in all of the cups and none of them showed any sign of leakage.
The square plates were called desert plates by the former owner. They measure 6-3/8" across.The round set of 5 measures 5½" in diameter and has scalloped edges.The cups are square and sit on the 5½" plates. Some of the plates have scalloped edges and some do not.
