This is an excellent Stereo card of a gondola in Venice, Italy. It is from a Rare Keystone “Boats” 25 card set (the cards are numbered 1 to 25) from about the late 1930's. This set features various types of boats from around the world. This card is titled "Boats - A Gondola in Venice" with a Keystone negative number of V34108 and a position number of 18. Stereoviews or stereo cards have two nearly identical images mounted side by side. When looked at through a stereo viewer they give a three-dimensional image. Most popular from 1854 to 1938, they were produced in vast quantities, and many are of historical interest. They usually measure about 3 ½” by 7”.
Domestic buyers (including Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, APO, or FPO) to prepay $8.50 shipping and handling for insured Priority Mail (mailed in a box) or $4.75 for First Class Mail (mailed in an envelope between two pieces of cardboard).
