DANISHPRECISION SHOWS IN THIS BIG BOWL LONG CANADIAN WITH A GORGEOUS RUSTIC TOVERTICAL GRAIN TRANSITION. Bottom shank is stamped “W.O. Larsen-HANDMADE-Made inDen...mark” opposite “RUSTICA” on the top shank. Shank shows an old butwell-executed crack repair that is hard to see and is complete with a brasstube insert to assure stability. Short tapered stem appears free of tooth wearand is clean but has not been sanitized. It fits tight to the Horn Mount that hasa hairline crack common with natural horn. Pipe exterior has been cleaned toaccurately show markings and expose condition issues. Bowl shows minor flaming, rim wear and has a small flat spot. There appears to be no other cracks, chipsor repairs. Pipe measures about 6-3/4” in overall length with a 2” stem. Under magnificationshows as-made wood variations and may have minor imperfections from the makeror as consistent with the wear and storage of a hand-made used pipe (seeclose-ups).
