Rare Vintage 1950's Russian Hand-painted Wooden Chess Set Cold War Russia Vs USA. 15.75" x 15.75" game board. Wooden pieces, with leather bottoms. The Russian pawns are modeled after real life Russian generals, and military leaders. Hand painted to look just like them, with names written on the bottom. The set is in excellent condition. A fairly unique chess set, that you probably won't find anywhere else. Looks super cool set out for display. Very fun to play with these unusual, artis...tic pieces.
