Original Description:
Very nicely carved wooden spoon from Old Town Maine, about 1840 with a historical message on the box.  The box notes that "This is made from tree (apple) that Silas (my grandfather) planted from an apple seed that he bot with a penny given him to go to circus."
Size:  The spoon is about 8 1/4 inches long.
Condition:  Original, as found condition.  The box is worn.
