Dollhouse Miniature Vintage Hand Painted Japanese Box W/lid, Signed
Item History & Price
Purchased many of these porcelains in late 70's or sometime in the 80's, and now need to sell the collection. Was told that many of these porcelains were from the 50's. Can't verify. Was also told artist died sometime in early 80's. Can't verify.
Over the years, when I bought these pieces, they were included in boxes that said "Memory ...of Japan" and were sold by Morimoto-Toen, Ltd. of Tokyo. They must have been intended as souvenirs for foreign visitors.
Approx. size: 1/2" tall x 3/4" wide. Each square on the green grid is one inch in size.
You are purchasing only the one box with lid. Nothing else is included. Other miniatures were added to give viewer a better idea of size and scale.
