Offered for sale is this antique hand painted and artist signed round toleware tray. It's beautifully painted with many layers of paint on the flowers giving the flowers the appearance of depth. Toleware is not my area of expertise, please look at the pictures for the best description. There are multiple layers of paint and lacquer or vanish on the tray. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures.
The tray is just under 14 inches diameter.
One area of the rim is bent,... and the front of the tray shows some spots of paint wear. The bottom of the tray has some scratches and wear. Please see the close up pictures.
