Antique Vintage Pressed Wood Army 45 Toy Gun - Colt 45 Style Wooden Pistol RARE

An interesting vintage children's toy gun dating to the 1930's-1940's. This toy gun has a unique construction compared to other toy guns of the time, this gun is made of pressed wood. The gun is a single solid piece of pressed wood with no moving parts.
The toy gun is marked "Army 45" on the side and is designed to resemble an M1911 Colt 45 pistol.
The toy gun measures 6" in length and is still in good overall condition for its age. The gun is still in one piece with... no spits or breaks, but does have a distressed appearance and quite a bit of antique character from play use in its day. The gun shows some paint wear throughout from handling, revealing some of the grey primer color paint and some of the pressed wood base in a few areas as well (see photos).
