This item’s detail description lists below: Condition – This vase was carefullyinspected before listing; it is in great condition. Except there is tiny glazepop near... the neck (on 5th photo), other than that I have found nodamage, or repair. DistinguishCharacteristics – This circa 20 centuries glossy, rich, bloodred glaze is produced by a method of firing that incorporates copper, a methodfirst discovered by the Chinese of the Ming dynasty probably during the reignof Wanli (1573–1620). The process was at first difficult to control, but it hadbeen mastered by the time of Kangxi (1661–1722) and Qianlong (1736–96) in theQing dynasty.This vase hasextraordinary beauty of oxblood glaze, from bone like color near the rim togradually darken adjacent the base. You can see the beautiful crazing structureof oxblood with various flows under the transplant glaze. Measurements– The vase measures approximately 12"tall, 7¼" between its widest points, 2" diameter opening at the top, 4¼"diameter at the base, and with weight of 4 lb. 8 oz.
