This beautiful 240 page book gives the complete history of the Gilmore Oil Company based in Los Angeles in the 1930's and 1940's, including the participation and sponsorships of auto racing, their zany advertising, the sports complex, and oil refining and retailing. This timeless hardcover book comes complete with a box and is brand new. It was awarded the Society of Automotive Historians Valentine Award for excellence in 2015 and is reviewed on page 44 in the Au...gust 2017 issue of Keith Martin's Sports Car Market magazine.
