Vintage 1930's Pepsi:Cola (Double-Dot) Bottle Opener - a very nice vintage piece. This is a bottle opener with an end hole for a key chain ) and is etched with a picture of the 1930's bottle with the paper label. The etching is clear and crisp with the Pepsi:Cola bottle etched on one side and worded: "Pepsi:Cola"*, "FAMOUS FOR OVER 30 YEARS" at the neck of the bottle - and the body of the bottle is worded: "A SPARKLING BRACING BEVERAGE" over "PEPSI:COLA"* and "TRADEMARK", "REFRES...HING", "HEALTHFUL", "10 OUNCE" under Pepsi:Cola (*note: the letters 'P' & 'C' on Pepsi and Cola are attached by the looping of the P&C at the top and bottom attaching each word.) The bottle shows a 'ribbing' pattern from the neck of the bottle to the main body. The reverse side of the opener is worded: "AMERICA'S BIGGEST NICKEL'S WORTH." There is a lot of wording and detail on this little opener which may not be picked up through the photos (it is really amazing that the manufacturer was able to capture all of the details which are still visible 80+ years later!) Opener measures 2.75" (L) x 7/8" (W) - there is no manufacturer's identity on this opener. This item has not been cleaned - see photos.
