A Stationary Back 3¼x4¼ Auto Graflex (serial number 76137, ca. 1917) in near excellent condition. Why I call it only "near" is detailed below.
• Focal plane shutter works. Sounds like it needs cleaning and lubrication.• Leather on body in excellent condition. Missing from front door.• Lens is clean and clear. Some dots of haze under a bright light.• Leather on reflex hood is breaking up.• The strap was repaired before I got the camera. Albeit... still frayed at both ends.• The reflex mirror shows tarnish to the edges of the front-surface silver. Center is bright enough.
Note: I triple checked the curtain after reconsidering my technique at its "stops" for pinholes. Found one each near the edge at three different stops. Only one is easy to see. My bet is that a tiny dab of paint will take care of them, which I leave to the buyer if they are planning to use the camera for photographs.
