VERY LOW PRICE!!!ORIGINALOpium Era Damper BowlAll Yixing Clay including The Clay Collar DESCRIPTION This is a Very Nice, VERY RARE early 1700's damper bowl from my personal collection. It is made of Yixing Clay. Even the collar is made of clay, "RARE style". This one has NEVER been used, the top hole is still VERY TINY. This one is signed and dated by the maker in Chinese characters. These normally sell for well over $300.00 if you can even find one.I've... had this in my personal collection for many years and finally decided it was time to part with it. We show it sitting on a pipe saddle so you can see how nice it looks. THE SADDLE IS NOT PART OF THIS AUCTION. This bowl can also be used as an incense burner if one wishes. Just place an incensecone under the 5/8" wide collar opening on the bottom of thebowl. You can also simply place a stick of incense into the little holeon the top.This is the same kind of bowl that was used during the Opium Period in China and played a rather notorious partin Chinese history. You just won't find such high quality bowls at such a LOW PRICE. This one has been in our PERSONAL COLLECTION for over 40+ years. Add this one to your collection while you have thisgreat opportunity.
