WARNING: THIS IS NOT A LASERDISC!!!
Hello! Up for sale is the CED videodisc title you see in the item description and shown in the pictures above. All of my CED listings I've marked as "acceptable" condition... to err on the side of caution but condition may vary and many may be in better shape than that.
All of the discs I have listed came from a basement where they were stored since the 1980's. The were stored for all of that time in an upright position, not stacked on top of each other. I cannot say for certain they have never been stacked, only that since the 80's they have been stored vertically on shelves.
I acquired this collection and pulled out any titles deemed "rare", "very rare", or "extremely rare" by CEDMagic.com.
Most of these discs appear to have been rentals, as they have bar code stickers on them and possibly sticker residue from where other stickers were previously placed (please inspect pictures closely). Some titles don't appear to have been rentals. There's some general wear to the labels, some discs worse than others. Some have ingrained dust and discoloration.
I painstakingly verified each and every disc I'm selling with a working CED player to verify that all caddies housed their correct disc. I also made sure that there is not a cracked or severely damaged disc being sold. If I'm selling it means I was able to watch it at least up to the opening credits. THAT DOES NOT MEAN the disc you're getting will not skip. They may have dust and scuffs on the discs from use and general wear. There are several factors that can contribute to disc skipping including a worn stylus on your player. Sometimes the lubricant on these discs can harden over time and cause skipping the first time you try to play it. The absolute best way, if you want to watch one of these discs through from start to finish, is to pre-play it all the way through without watching it (the more times the better). This will cut through the lubricant and also knock any dust out of the grooves.
Any titles that don't sell individually will eventually be sold in lots. That's it, I think I've said what I need to say. Please check out the pictures carefully and e-mail me with any questions. THANKS!!!
