This is a really lovely late Victorian, Gothic Revival easel picture stand.
The stand is cast in brass with ornate, foliate scrolls typical of the Gothic which was popular towards the end of the 19th Century.
The stand is in excellent antique condition; one of the picture rests is bent.
 The stand is 185 mm tall, and is suitable therefore for a 6 inch high picture.
 All in all, a very beautiful, impressive, and rare piece Gothic Revival Metalware, and a very s...tylish way to display your favourite picture of your loved ones.
