UNUSUALLY LARGE, VINTAGE ANGLO INDIAN SADELIWARE RELIGIOUS DOCUMENT BOX c1950
An unusual large Anglo Indian Sadeli style box with religious connection, possibly to contain a religious document or piece of art with religious associations.
Please see the attached photos which are an integral part of this description. All items are described to the best of my knowledge, however I usually don't state the obvious as this can be seen from the numerous photos provided.
A...s with many Sadeli boxes, this one is not in perfect condition and has some losses to the edges/corners. It also may have had a name plate or similar on the centre front which is no longer present. The competitive pricecat which this box is offered reflects it's current condition.
Please appreciate that all items are antique/vintage/used and therefore are likely to show varying degrees of age related wear and tear. If you want to ensure 100% pristine condition may I suggest you buy new.
