This item is used in Yaesu FT-101B, E, EE, EX, F, FE, FX transceivers.This rare board is for those who want to install the CW filter on the 1183 boa...rd, and have an AM filter for AM operation.
Note *This WILL NOT work in the FT101ZD*
The board and its filter was thoroughly tested prior-to removing the item from service, to be sold as "FOR PARTS". I've only seen 3 of these boards in all the years of servicing the 101 radio. I do not know the procedure for a third filter installation, I cannot find any documentation anywhere.I have included photos showing where the interconnections go. The radio this was removed from, had a stock-unmodified mode switch and a cw filter was properly installed on the 1183 board. Please Note* Buyer must determine the suitability of the product for his/her intended use.The Yaesu Mode switch must NOT be modified or rewired, as outlined in the Yaesu FT-101 service manual...
