Antique WWI military trench lighter stamped "Japan". The lighter is made of brass and easily opens and closes; the wheel does not turn, but I think that is because there is no flint present. The wick and internal cotton is new, so it was either serviced after it's last use, or has never been used. There is some oxidization, but would clean easily with a brass cleaner, I did not clean it myself as I did not want to damage it or devalue it for a perspective buyer.... A nice piece that seems to be in working order with the exception of the wheel/flint. Please see photos and ask questions, as no returns; ships quickly from a smoke free home.
