Antique Hand Made Primitive Solid Wood Yarn Winder Vintage great Estate find. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail based on 15 lbs from Vermont oversized.Wonderful primitive piece of Americana. This yarn winder was obviously hand crafted. Base is a slab of wood that is rounded on the top from the original log shape. Upright mast was made to fit in hole of base, nails have been used to secure it. Nails will be removed to remove upright from base to ship. A...ll nails will be included.Cross pieces have spindles on ends, they come apart, and go back together with wooden pegs present. There is currently no nail holding cross pieces to upright, but hole is present. I would use a very small dowel as a pin for character.Hoping this finds a great new home. I see many of these in historic sights, museums, country inns, hotels or motels as rustic country decor.Base is 15.5" x 16.5" . 33" from floor to center peg. 26" cross pieces makes overall height 46". Heavy piece. I will package it to the best of my ability to avoid oversize charge and protect the parts.
