For your consideration today is an excellent 1984 Hess Toy Tanker Truck for sale. If it weren’t for the box, I could consider listing this truck as near mint.
Overall the truck is in excellent condition. I do not see any problems with the truck itself. All chrome pieces are present, original, intact, and without tarnishing. All wheels roll freely. The bank compartment door operates perfectly, and the bank tab is still in place at the end of the tanker. &nbs...p;Again, I see no issues with this truck.
The battery compartment is free of any corrosion, and all four lights work perfectly and shine brightly as pictured.
The original box is included in this auction in good as well. There is some pretty significant dirt present on most, if not all, sides of the box which can be seen by zooming in on the photos of the box. This dirt is the only problem with the box - there are no tears or rips present. The box is still very sturdy and quite presentable. Please review all box photos for full details.
Both the original top and bottom inserts are included in this auction in excellent condition. In addition, the original battery compartment is present as well in excellent condition.
