Original Description:
This auction is for an antique, slate, chalkboard that measures 14" by 10" in size. The outer edge is thread-wrapped felt. Double-sided. This type of chalkboard is commonly associated with one-room schoolhouses. It was purchased as new-old-stock at a general store estate sale that was located across the street from a one room schoolhouse! The felt has faded and there is shop wear and a sticker spot where the price tag was placed on the board. Penciled notation on the wood frame.
