Nice Lot of 7 Antique 1885 Business Invoices for SEWING MACHINE & NEEDLE & SEWING MACHINE SUPPLY COMPANIES, Londonderry, Vermont, Ohio, & BostonDESCRIPTION: Great lot of 7 original antique invoices and statements. All to or from Luke T. Landman who apparently had some sort of sewing or textile company in Londonderry, Vermont. Scans show them all....Lots consist of: 2 from the St. John Sewing Machine Co., Springfield, Ohio, buying 5 Royal St. John Sewing Machines + 5 Ru...ffler Tuckers, then 2 Royal Machines + 2 Ruffler Tuckers. Both dated 1883.3 from the Sewing Machine Supplies Co., Boston, Mass., buying quantities of bobbins, needles, and other sewing hardware. All dated 1886-1888. All have great seal saying "Sole Agents for National Needle Company's Patent Cold Compressed Machine Needles".2 invoices FROM Luke Landman selling used sewing machines for $10 and $4 each (an Elias Henry and a Domestic machine). 1 dated 1884, 1 dated 1886. Scans show all the details. All have nice fancy printing and fonts and measure 8 1/2" x roughly 5 1/2". Excellent condition.All are nice pieces and very suitable for framing.
