Original Description:
Extremely unusual film holder made in the late 1880's by The Scovill & Adams Co., New York. This is a 5 x 7 size. When the two side hinges are undone, this flips open like a book. These are also being used now as decorative picture frames. When closed it is 25mm thick. Beautiful and scarce item.
