Antique brown leather child's shoesThese are just about the sweetest things I've seen! Just Beautiful to imagine a child wearing these at one time.Please refer to condition description and pictures for details. The soles of these are coming off.Marked on the bottom of each shoe "Wainwrights first shoes Aug 1906 - 8 mo.They are stuffed with pieces of newspaper. I pulled one of the pieces out and I think the year showed 1932 (the date was faded)I buy most of my pieces at auctions, ...flea markets & yard sales so I don't know the history of the item. I am not an antique dealer or expert. I describe the item along with any flaws and markings I can find the best I can.
