Up for bid is a Vintage/antique 12 inch Teddy bear made in the USA by the Ideal Novelty and Toy Co.  The bear shows wear and tear but this is a great deal.In 1905 the Ideal Novelty and Toy Company was formed by Morris & Rose Michtom with financial help of the Butler Brothers. The company changed its name to Ideal Toy Company in 1938. The popularity of Teddy Bears turned its inventors from owners of a small local novelty store into one of the largest toy companies in history....r>
