Very rare 1978 (or 1970 “something”- last number is sewn into the body) vintage Dakin Pillow Pets seated Afghan Hound Dog - realistic style stuffed animal! I actually would consider the stance a “play” stance rather than seated due to the quizzical look on his/her face- but it’s close. Color base is brown, longer fur is a light gray- taupe? It’s Hard to describe. Very pretty, though!Overall in great condition for its age- hair seems to be unequally distributed so see the pi...c where I stood it up on top. (Wild!) It’s not cut; it just seems more sparse on one side. Stands approx. 20" tall & measures approx. 31" long to the tail. Light weight but is solid-stiff so it can sit on its own. This is not the soft and floppy/cuddly type of plush.
