Here's an antique wide body medicine bottle that is blown in mold and dates to around 1885-1895:
TARRANT & CO/ DRUGGISTS/ NEW YORKMeasures 5-1/2" tall by 2-5/8" wide, with a hand tooled, square band lip, a little neck swirl, many tiny entrapped air bubbles, and a slight hint of sun colored purple, or amethyst in this clear piece. Also very bold embossing.In excellent condition with only a side lip nick, and a little inside residue on the back, otherwise fine.
