For sale is this awesome Chinese brass coin piece! I believe that pieces like this were used to stamp coin patterns into wet clay. The clay would then be used as a mold to pour hot brass or bronze into to make Chinese coins. This is an amazing piece! It is made out of brass or bronze itself. It is tarnished a green color. This piece represents such an amazing part of the history of money and the history of civilizations! This piece does not show the wear as an ancient piece should. The... toning also looks too even. The brass looks to have been made by modern tools. For these reasons and others, I believe that this is a modern piece that is made in the same style as authentic ancient pieces. Officially I am selling this piece as a replica. It looks to be a very good one though! Don’t pass it up!
