I wasn't sure what this was when I first listed it, but I just happened to come across a similar style piece. It is an older porcelain, probably German, pipe. Also, as the last photo shows above I do have the stem. It fits into the wishbone piece nicely. It is in great condition.
The pipe head has no lid, and is missing the piece of cork. There should be a little cork piece for the head to fit snugly into the wishbone piece but it is missing.
