This is a Chinese porcelain domed cover for a large vase, of lotus petal form, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue featurng panels of hawthorn and lotus flowers divided by double lines leaditng to a double circle at the top and a lotus bud knop.Kangxi period 1662-1722.Height 4, 25 in (11 cm). LARGE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN VASE COVER, 18TH CENTURY, KANGXI PERIOD Description This is a Chinese porcelain domed cover for a large vase, of lotus petal form, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue featurng panels of hawthorn and lotus flowers divided by double lines leaditng to a double circle at the top and a lotus bud knop.
Kangxi period 1662-1722.
