 1) ITEM DESCRIPTIONCondition : As shown in the picture, it's very good condition. No chips, No cracks. Size : Dia. 2.4"(6.0cm) x Height 2.2"(5.5cm)Item Description :

This is a Japanese lid rest (Futaoki) of Banko ware, which was made by famous potter, Yutaka Miyata (1935-)  about 30 years ago.
The seal of the potter is stamped on the inside of the lid.  The original wooden box with the signature of the potter is also included.Futaoki is used for tea ceremony. Futaoki is used to put a lid of kettle or MIZUSASHI (water container) on it. Futaoki is one of essential item for tea ceremony or tea party.
