Offering a very nice and rare variant of the famous Electro Voice 664...it's 1960's DUKANE MODEL 7A160 DYNAMIC MICROPHONE! These mics are very weighty, were built to serve and perform well under extreme conditions, and have remained some of the best surviving mics of the past half century. This one is in excellent condition, front to back, with all of it's original chromed sheen, overall nearly perfect with only the mildest of scuffs. This model has its original, bu...t way superior pickup and transformer, easily out-producing the fidelity and output volume of the 664. [Actually, it sounds more in line with the quality of the EV 666!] The on-off switch works, and has a 3 pin female Amphenol connecting port. (I may have a short Amphenol to XLR adapter cable for sale separately.) The pivot joint holds the tilt angle firmly, the maker's badge looks good (the badge has a couple of scratches), and the mic stand threads are perfect. Just like the decades favorite EV 664, these mics were built strong and have been favorites for P.A. use, live performances and radio broadcasting for many decades. ** Always secure packaging and fast fair shipping. ** BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY OTHER VINTAGE MICROPHONES FOR SALE **** I have worked in major market broadcast radio over 45 years in the imaging/audio production field.
