ANTIQUE SILVER FUSEE WORKING BUT NEEDS ATTENTION 1878.
This is a working Fusee that runs fine face down but face up runs for various lengths of time before slowly stopping. Winds smoothly and fully and on its face runs the length of the chain. The 50 mm case is quite worn and has a few soft dents to the back. Hinges are worn but intact and covers close firmly. Hallmarked for London 'C' for 1878 and stamped with the same number as thee movement 55029.Dial has a ...tiny chip to the centre but no hairlines. Mineral glass crystal has a few light surface scratches highlighted by the flash but not that noticeable on the watch. No key with this watch.
