This is a wonderful antique, very vintage hand made linen table runner with very fine woven damask needle work center with wide red turkey drawn work and needle work borders. This is a very old piece and is a extremely lovely pattern with large diamond shaped background with vines of flowers going through it.This piece is completely hand made with hand stitching throughout the entire piece and is done on a strong 100% linen cloth .This piece is estate fresh and in lovely vintage condit...ion with some signs of a previous life with no rips, holes or tears .there are a couple of small . The borders are completely lovely with beautifully done needle work with the fringe having some wear . Please refer to the pictures . This piece is estate fresh and was tuck away in the linen closet for the last 80 or more years along with some other pieces . Please refer to the pictures . This runner measures 11 1/2 by 71 inches.
