Rare prototype from Vintage Kenner Starting Lineup baseball line. This was obtained in Cincinnati in the early 1990s, from a former Kenner employee. This particular figure was used in the design process for the expanded 1989 line. Dated 1989, probably produced in late 1988. The number five is written by the employee on the back. The actual head sculpt co...uld be from an unreleased player or we used from a player already made, I am unsure. A very rare and unique piece of Kenner history. Priced cheap!
