DIVINE ANTIQUE FRENCH SILVER GILT SUGAR SIFTER SPOON c1900 ROSE GARLAND
This is a beautiful antique French silver hallmarked sugar sifter spoon. I have left it just as it was found dark with age untouched and original. It will polish as required. The pierced bowl is gilded and has cutwork vines and foliage in a swirled display. The handle is embellished with rose garlands tied with a bow on both sides. There is a French ...silver hallmark and also a makers mark. Height 15.5cms Diameter of bowl 4.2cms Wonderful for the French gateaux and starwberries! All the items in my listings, unless described otherwise, are either vintage or antique. They have all had a 'past' life, a history to tell - and this inevitably affects their condition through use and handling. I do my best to make my descriptions as accurate as possible but please do not bid if you are looking for pristine items; you will not find them in my auctions!
