Original Description:
This is a beautiful Fumio Kitaoka Woodblock Print that I acquired from an estate.  I don't know a lot about art, but this has some information that came along with it and I've provided some in the photos.  The bio will also come with this piece.  This artist firmly established himself as a contemporary master of the woodblock.  His woodblock art was almost immediately distinguished for his use of perspective and receding space combined with the bold and almost sculp...tural effects he achieved by printing his blocks under very high pressure.  He apparently was quite an incredibly recognized artist.  He was born in 1918 and died in 2007.  The frame measures approximately 8 3/4" x 8 3/4" and the print portion measures approximately 5" wide and 4 1/2" tall.  Looks like a great find.   U.S. Buyers use shipping calculator.  Payments accepted via Paypal.  Please also look at my other auctions and my ebay store.
