Vintage mid century Japanese diorama.  Composition - Hand crafted three dimensional masked wood figures and frame.  The stacked/layered wood frame is reminiscent of tramp art design.  This piece is a recent antique estate acquisition which is very nicely detailed.  Estimated circa 1940-50s.  A rare and unique vintage folk art collectible that offers a striking display.  Generously sized at 15” wide x 11” tall.  M...ay be hung or displayed on a flat surface.
