Up for auction with no reserve is this truly beautiful antique portrait of a young girl done in oil on paper. Her skin and features are exceptionally well shaded and her gaze is almost haunting. The painting was a local estate find and looks to be from the early 20th century. Although unsigned, the work is quite remarkable!The condition of the painting is very good, with no damage and just some craquelure to the girl's gown. The work is framed in a dark gold, mo...re modern frame with a well-matched burgundy mat and anti-glare glass.The painting measures 13 inches in diameter and was briefly removed from the frame to be examined and photographed.
