Sweet little Arts and Crafts Era Sterling Silver Brooch embellished with Tiny flowers set with a Peking Glass Cabochon.
A sublimely pretty and exquisitely dainty little Arts and Crafts style brooch circa 1920. The flower embellished silver mount has a look of Bernard Instone about it the tiny flowers exquisitely modelled but there is no makers mark it is just stamped 'Sterling' twice on the back. Laser tests at 925 Sterling Silver.
The centerpiece is a pretty elongated ...oval cabochon of Vivid Jade Green Peking Glass. Peking glass of course was intended to imitate jade it looks mystical against the moon glow of the silver mount.
A versatile little pin that makes a discreet and elegant scarf pin for your favourite silk scarf or a dainty understated lapel brooch.
The brooch measures a maximum size of approximately 34 mms x 10 mms
The maximum width of the Peking Glass cabochon is approximately 25 mms x 9 mms. A very pretty little thing for your trinket box would make a sweet little stocking filler.
