This was published by the McLoughlin Bros. of Springfield, Massachusetts. The McLoughlin Bros. were in business from 1858 up to 1920 when the McLoughlin Bros. sold out to the Milton Bradley Company. 'McLoughlin publications are particularly well known for their use of colored illustrations, which were hand-stenci...led during the firm's early years and printed using chromolithographs and photo engravings later on. By 1886, the firm published a wide range of items including cheap chapbooks, large folio picture books, linen books, puzzles, games and paper dolls.' This would have been one of their Paper Dolls Books that offers very bright and colorful clothing. There are 4 paper dolls in this book, 2 on the front cover and the 2 front the back cover. There are 8 costumes of clothing for the dolls including a clown costume. Since the dolls have both a front and back the clothing does too. These paper dolls are UN-NAMED so you will have to name them yourself. The paper dolls all stand about 11 inches tall. The only flaw I can find on this book is that it does have some wear at the binding area.Rest assured all items will be packaged with GREAT CARE!!
