This is a Rare and Useful piece of Antique Victorian Gold Jewellery. Made in 9ct Yellow Gold it is a Two Part Barrel Clasp Fastener that would have been used to secure a Necklace so has an unsoldered jump ring at either end. It is not hallmarked due to its age and size but it has been electronically tested at a precious metal refinery to confirm the Gold Purity as 9ct. It weighs 0.6g and measures 15mm long when closed not including the jump rings. It is in a used but go...od condition for its age with no damage and just minor surface wear while the fastener works well. Please note some of the photos have been taken using a flash.
